Player prices
A player's price follows their career average DTV rating: 10,000 Souls at the scene's median rating (1.10), then 14,000 Souls more or less per point of rating away from it. Six median players therefore cost exactly the budget — you can't have six stars, you have to choose. At least 3 rated games are needed to reach the market.
The budget
60,000 Souls for 6 players — 10,000 Souls per slot on average. Every player above the median has to be funded by a bet below it: in practice you can field up to three of the top players, never four.
Scoring
Each rated game by one of your players is worth 5 points, plus 100 points per point of DTV rating above the lobby average (1.00) — and as much off below it. So an average game is worth +5, a big performance far more, and a bad one costs points.
Bonuses
3 cards drawn at random per entry per season. They apply to players on your roster and only count from the moment you play them.
The season
A season is one calendar month. Your points only count from the moment you validate your team: games played before that earn you nothing, so committing early pays and nobody can buy a player after the fact to bank what he already did. Standings are recomputed on every DTV rating update. At the end of the month the winner joins the hall of fame and everyone starts over with a fresh budget.
