With well-executed drafts, Buff Enjoyers and Melee Creeps found success and won the Night Shift

Deadlock's world was once again for its most popular weekly meeting of the week, the Night Shift, after suffering several setbacks during the R1 Tourney 2 as well as during the Night Shift 45, Buff Enjoyers managed this time to reverse the trend by first winning against Leviathan in the Challenger, before taking his revenge on Abrahams in the finale

The first point of this Night Shift is the mastery of the drafts proposed by Buff Enjoyers, all quite inspired and this already the first match against Leviathan, a very offensive draft based on a perfectly mastered start of the game to leave no chance to the much more balanced composition of Leviathan to return

The Challenger match was marked by Lystic’s undivided dominance with his Shiv who simply made his best RNG game of his career with a score of 2.98

This is followed by an umpteenth final between Buff Enjoyers and Abrahams, which will be marked this time by bets in terms of heroes on both sides of the chessboard, as evidenced by this first part of the final with Buff Enjoyers which leaves Pocket to Abrahams and prioritizing Mirage and Shiv

empty dreams had two opportunities to play Pocket but neither of them will prove to be a success as Buff Enjoyers will have prepared his subject well by constantly neutralizing the threat that is Pocket, well helped by a multitude of ultimate completely failed

Another interesting and recurring point in all drafts is the constant targeting of Leviathan and Abrahams towards obikym with the recurring banishment of Apollo, constantly forcing him to play characters little mastered for him like Mina and Drifter

The first two parts of the final followed a relatively similar scenario. First Buff Enjoyers, then Abrahams, won thanks to a perfectly controlled snowball, without ever giving their opponent the opportunity to return to the game

The third round, on the other hand, proved much more contested. Despite a sustained advance for much of the meeting, Abrahams never managed to deliver the decisive blow. Buff Enjoyers remained in contact until the turn of the game, securing the middle boss after more than 30 minutes of play. This control allowed them to take the initiative definitively before concluding the meeting about ten minutes later

Thanks to this victory, Buff Enjoyers won his 17th title in Night Shift. Zerggy won an eighth MVP RNG trophy, while Cosmetical earned his fourth EVP RNG title.

Following the European edition of Night Shift 46 won by Buff Enjoyers against Abrahams (2-1), the competitive Deadlock scene shifted back to North America for the second leg of the tournament. Once again, the matches did not disappoint, particularly the final, which set new records for match duration.

FPS Lounge had kicked off their campaign perfectly, securing an easy victory over Get Candy, a team that had qualified earlier that evening by defeating Work In Progress. It was a true trial by fire for this relatively inexperienced squad, who benefited from the absence of Birds With Clock, a team currently undergoing a roster overhaul.

While the skill gap between the two teams wasn't massive, the disparity in macro-level play was so significant that the match quickly became unwinnable for Get Candy across the board.

A rematch between Melee Creeps and FPS Lounge ensued, resulting in another record-breakingly long final, with two of the three matches exceeding the 45-minute mark.

Melee Creeps also faced an uphill battle due to an incomplete roster and the absence of Dew, which required League to step in as a substitute.

Melee Creeps drew first blood by winning a hard-fought opening match. The lead swung back and forth for over forty minutes before a final mid boss objective ultimately allowed Melee Creeps to clinch the win. Unlike the European final, Pocket was fully utilized this time largely thanks to the outstanding performances of Lefaa and Eidorian, who played a pivotal role in their team's success.

FPS Lounge managed to level the series by winning the second match, but Melee Creeps reclaimed the lead for good in a fiercely contested third game, securing yet another title.

With this latest victory, Melee Creeps claims its 27th Night Shift title, Jonjon secures his fifteenth RNG MVP, while Saiah picks up his third RNG EVP.
