Eido : "Everyone says EU is better than NA, so we're trying to improve the quality here"

Following Melee Creeps hard-fought victories over Birds with Clocks and then FPS Lounge, Eido and stand-in LordNM were invited onto the Night Shift set to share their reactions

"How would you describe Melee Creeps' current situation? How is the team handling it all ?"

Eido : Obviously, we’re still looking for a sixth player right now, we’re trying out various players, and the academy is a great way to do that and discover new talent. We’re also all fed up with low-quality scrims, so we’re trying to improve the scene, after all, everyone says Europe is better than America, so we want to ensure we’re getting higher-quality matches

As for Melee Creeps specifically, we’re looking for a really strong support player or a flex player, or actually, what we’re really looking for is an IGL. We’re exploring our options right now: we tried out a support player, this week we’re trying a flex player, and next week we’ll try out an IGL

"You beat FPS Lounge and their superb roster this time around; will you be facing LordNM again next week following this win ?"

Eido : It’s not impossible, we’ll see. As long as he doesn't play Viscous and we manage to get him on Silver, since that’s the only character he can actually play... Well, you all know who our next test is going to be. But honestly, his Silver was really good, and his communication was solid thanks to good pre-match prep

LordNM : I need to set the record straight. I told the guy : "Don't tell me at the last minute that I'm playing, give me time to prepare, I haven't played with a team in two months." He told me at 2 am yesterday that I was playing, and then he makes me play Viscous, a character I haven't used in competition since 2024. The guy's an idiot

Eido : Honestly, regarding the behind-the-scenes of Melee Creeps, there really isn't anything going on behind the scenes. It’s literally just me getting everything ready. I’m not going to lie: I’m constantly telling them to prep this or that, but I never get a reply. Then match day rolls around, and Saiah tells me he thought we were getting someone else and asks, "Who are we trying out?" These guys are too laid-back for me
