North American Shake-up: Eido, Dew, and Fishcake Leave Melee Creeps, Catching Everyone by Surprise

Melee Creeps has won 27 editions of Night Shift since the tournament's inception, victories claimed by a wide variety of rosters, given the team's frequent player changes, yet nothing could have predicted such a massive shake-up in the North American scene

The team has never managed to find any real stability, with roster changes becoming commonplace since February of this year, ranging from benching DMB in favor of Dew to benching Scout in May

Ranger's trial run intended to fill a roster vacancy was not without success, yielding victories at the 42nd edition of Night Shift, however, his transition to a coaching role and subsequent departure just weeks later left Melee Creeps in a highly precarious position, lacking a sixth player

Over the following weeks, Melee Creeps held tryouts for players such as League and Venialfr, as well as a last-minute stand-in, LordNM

As Eido had announced in a post-match interview following their Night Shift 45 victory, Melee Creeps continued their trials, this time with Boostio but the attempt proved unsuccessful, resulting in a 2-1 loss to Poppers Puppils, a team that was also grappling with its own share of behind-the-scenes issues

Eido's post came as a complete surprise to the entire scene, including Saiah, one of the two remaining Melee Creeps players revealing his unannounced departure from the team and his intention to rebuild the Melee Creeps roster once again

The Melee Creeps core of Eido, Dew, and Fishcake currently ranked third globally in the RNG standings now finds itself without a team and with no guarantee of playing together in the coming weeks and months
